Black and White printmaking
I see printmaking as a natural extension of drawing as it adds permanance and multiples to a drawn idea. I tend to favour black and white or monochrome printmaking over highly coloured techniques, perhaps as a contrast to my painting style, in which I generally use bold colour. I had access to fantastic print studios at the universities in both Perth and Madrid. I have also printed through the Printmakers Association in W.A and the Australian Print Workshop in Fitzroy; who both run well equipped studios. Most of my prints come in editions, are economcially priced and available to purchase.
